Hi there, would it be possible if someone can cut and paste how we can get our NOTES? This thread is getting awfully long and I forgot whereabouts it was!

Here's Zari's very short and precise list, I used it and it worked fine:

And if the applicant isn't in Canada they have to fill out this form and sign it so the sponsor can request the information on their behalf:

One thing I noted is that in the application it asks to describe your situation, and the person in the video puts 'academia'. I personally put 'member of the public' and it worked just fine.

There is an update on my ecas - they have re-activated my PR application status from years ago, including the name of the office where I did my landing and date. Anyone else with such an update? What does this mean (if anything)? When I saw "complete" under PR, I thought my hubby had been approved for PR(what a let down)!!

Apparently I read from another forum where someone said this indicate that they have completed reviewing the application.

I do recall the same thing (i.e. double address appearing) when I did my CEC application few years ago - in that case I got "DM" a short while later, hope it's the case for sponsorships as well.

I bet for $5 bucks that we'll get an ECAS update this coming weekend. (Check back on Monday ;D)

Hello everyone Please advice

Here is our time and where the application stands :

I apply to support my husband on January 10 2014
I was approved on February 10 2013
the case was transfer from Mississauga to Rabat morocco the same day which February 10 2014
since than we been waiting we didn't hear anything yet
Medical was done back on November 2013

Note:
We have 2 years old daughter and we are expecting our second child at the end of this month

Next step only god knows.

Any ideas please share thank you

Yeah, I have the "double address" too... if this is the case, then that's awesome. Glad to see there is two of us with this update so we can track status.

Anyone having ECAS issues lately? Not able to log on using sponsor's information for the past two days... no problem with applicant's UCI though, very strange. Hope this has something to do with CIC updating the status of my application....

many people have been posting this weekend about issues with ECAS. Either the system is down, or it's doing maintence. my guess is it will be back up for normal business hours.

Manila called for passports of November applicants and December applicants on the month of June....
next week we should see some calls to February applicants.....
and soon also February applicants, as they have been able to process applications from two months
in June... I hope that the trend continues

Morocco seems to be slower that other Visa offices,
for now is just a game of wait and see.....
don't worry...
next thing will be a call for passport...

If your pregnancy gets too advanced and you think that you will need
your husband with you,
its good idea to speak to your MP to get your husband application
processed a little bit faster.... I would try that...
nothing to lose....

hey buddy, my timeline is similar to you and i have a 1 yr old son with my wife outside Canada. Its been over 5 months since app received and no ppr. my vo is dead, I feel like they are holding up our app. Your vo should be better and I believe you will get some news by the end of this month.
