Hey ZArilenth ! first, congratulations.

Second, quick question : Have you paid the 490$ permanent resident fee upfront with your application or will you pay it now that you have received the OK ?

Thank you

Thank you :) And Nancyjones too :)

I paid all my fees upfront - I assume they would have requested the payment receipt before changing my ecas to DM if I hadn't paid it :)

PAssport back this morning plus DM on ECAS since June 23rd ! Super happy !

All the best to everyone!!!!!!!! :-*

Hi Malik
Please try emailing the CHC as your application is well above 80 business days.
We sponsored a worker from Pakistan and she submitted her application on January 28, 2014 initially which was refused and sent back within 10 business days. She then re-applied on February 18, 2014 ( without upfront medicals) and she is yet to hear any thing from the embassy.

Kindly inbox me your email address and I will keep sharing with you the timeline.

Regards.....

Congratulations!!!

I just got my GCMS notes and not so good news on my side... Seems like they didn't get the CSQ from MICC, sent me a back up request by email and I never received it! All in all, they haven't even glanced at my application after that and nothing has been started, not criminality nor security nor eligibility... I sent them an enquiry, so let's hope they will react soon :(

Sorry to hear that! Are you able to obtain the CSQ and send it yourself?

Yeah, I got the copy meant for the VO. I thought to wait a bit for them to answer in case they request something else as well as Mississauga had noted that my husband's intent of return wasn't verified. Since I can't be sure if my e-mail box ate some other mails as well, so don't know if they requested again or requested something else. I do suspect though they might have just made a typo in my email adress, which I had suspected they might do (my email ends kolumbus.fi, people often tend to write columbus.fi instead). I gave them a new email address in case the fault is in my box, though it would be the first time.

I just really hope this won't cause too much delay in my application!

Hope everything goes ok!

I remember when I had an address that ended with adressen.se people tended (english speaking ppl) to write addressen...

I have just paid the Right of Permanent Residence fee and because I had not included it in my original application, I am wondering what is the best way to send it in to CPC Ottawa. I called earlier today and an agent told me that I should mail it AND fax it ( 905-803-7392 ).

Questions :
1. This fax number seems to be for CIC Mississauga and not CPC Ottawa. Since my wife is American, and her file is at CPC Ottawa, where should I send the fax ?

2. I found 2 different MAILING addresses online and one of them (they just have different PO boxes #) has the title : Right of Permanent Residence Fee Payments. Should I send it there ? (I'm under the impression that this address is for people who dont want to pay by credit card.)

3. I have previously sent my CSQ by e-mail, after I scanned it and I got a reply saying it was received and everything went well. I'm wondering if I could not do the same with this RPRF Receipt.

Thank you.

Second set of GCMS notes show application is not in process yet - at least not criminality, security, etc :( I'm aware of a case that applied a month ahead of us that recently went 'in process' so will assume that we are en-route to processing :-)

1. It is CPC-Mississauga that is processing all the fees, no matter when you send it. The receipt has to be sent there.

2. The mailing address for RPRF is different from the one used for sending applications. Here is the address for RPRF, it's where I sent mine and I paid by credit card:

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

My reference: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp

3. It would not hurt to email a copy of the RPRF receipt to the Ottawa VO. This way, you're saving the time for Mississauga to receive, process and notify Ottawa that you paid.

Just got our COPR in the mail today! 151 days from mailing off the package to Visa received :)

Can we not just email proof of RPRF to CPC-M if we pay by credit card? Or do they want physical copy? I am pretty sure I read somewhere that you can email the info to them. I was going to do that and then fax a copy of the receipt to my VO.

I don't know about the email. I just sent a paper copy since I can print 1000 copies if I like. I'm in Canada so I sent using regular mail since it was not so urgent and I had some stamps left. We don't use these so much nowdays, I think I paid them 49 cents each back then... ::)

Thank you, I just sent it today by recommended mail to the address you just gave me. In order to get a tracking # It's 10.50$ ! at that price I could have used FedEx ! :o
