hi, im a january applicant too.. since yesterday i cant access my Ecas. we didnt receive any letter or AOR or SA but before when i checked ecas app received already. but now i can no longer check our status in Ecas anyone here experiencing the same? what might have been the problem

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my sponsorship application for my husband (a US citizen) on January 9, 2014. They have since received my application and approved me as a sponsor.

Now we are at the second stage, the PR papers. When we pulled the application package together we got the criminal background check and medicals done so CIC should have everything. Just wondering if anyone else has heard back as yet. We are so anxious, I end up looking at the status every day!!!

I got decision made today, application went into processing on the 5th and decision today.

What happens next? How long does the letter take to arrive? I'd really like to know for sure, haha.

Hi Cee,

A couple others (including myself) who applied in January through Ottawa have gotten our Visas. Have you received any notice from Ottawa yet? If not you should be getting word soon.

hey buddy, my timeline is similar to you and i have a 1 yr old son with my wife outside Canada. Its been over 5 months since app received and no ppr. my vo is dead, I feel like they are holding up our app. Your vo should be better and I believe you will get some news by the end of this month.

Hi nancyjones, sorry just saw your message now!

I am PPR exempt as I am applying from Korea (well, my wife is Korean, so she is PPR exempt) However, it would be nice if I heard something congrats to you all for getting your requests!
