I can help since my mother language is french. ;D
The course linked by huertdiaz is NOT a beginners course in french, hence the page in french. You are supposed to be able to understand already what is written there.
This course is aimed to the intermediate and advanced french skill levels. You can also take some specializations according to your field of work such as health and nursing, administration and laws, engineering and science.
Here's the general information in english: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/french-language/learning-online/index.html

:) thank you edgehead78 i saw it already before ,, my hubby and i look this site but i decide to go class in alliance and self study at home
:)

My in-laws are speaking filipino, im speaking french, our common language is basic english. And the communication gets waaaayyyyy better when we are having some rhum together. :P
That's a definite benefit from this wonderful adventure, "l'enrichement a travers les langues et cultures". Love how every language has its own pithy expressions for certain scenarios, emotions, explanations, rebuttals, etc. I've learned in Tagalog that mastering "po" can be very useful!

Wow that sure took long! Let's hope SA is coming soon. Have a really nice trip in Ghana and enjoy your time with your husband! :)

Good to hear some positive news in this thread! :) I'm hoping we all have fast processing times!

In my case a (no so) important update: my husband is flying up on Monday to finish up his medical tests, and then we will be sending a large packet of additional info to the Ottawa VO! I regret not putting this much effort into finding relationship proofs when we originally submitted our application, but what can you do. Hopefully the officer working on my file doesn't get upset when s/he gets a stack of 100 new pages. Although, my relationship proofs consisted of maybe 20 pages originally, so it's not so bad..

Just an FYI
I sent a case specific enquiry last Thursday to update my address, and the London VO replied today (Monday) saying that it has been updated. So, 28 working days doesn't seem to be accurate. Although it might depend on your enquiry.

Just got our CSQ in the mail today! It was signed on 11 March, so took almost two weeks to reach us through snail mail. Now starts the longest wait...
