If you order for the applicant(i.e. your husband), you will get just his information. If you want yours and his, you need to request for "sponsor and applicant" (it's one of the options) from Missisauga.
To clarify, there are two ways to request GCMS:
1. under the privacy Act which is for yourself only and is free of charge - this is what I did.
2. under the Access to Information Act which is on behalf of others - costs $5. You also need to include an "Authorization to release Information" form, signed by the applicant.
If I wanted mine and my husband's notes, I would need to do it under #2 . I did not do that, so even if there were notes about him, CIC did not have his permission to share it with me.
