Does anyone know if there is supposed to be two distinct steps of AOR / SA? Seems like sometimes CIC simply combines the two, which makes sense.

Haha, perfect timing eh? I'm in my office on Saturday too so I don't feel so bad for them! :p

I just find it surprising since here surely no government office is open on Saturdays! I suspect we did forget to add my hubby's e-mail and phone number in the application itself hence no AOR, but the e-mail is listed in the Additional Family Information-form, so I suppose the one making the decision found it there.

And thnx btw, with all this excitement I forgot my manners!

Well at least in my SA I don't have my UCI number, I guess you can find it usually in the AOR? Lucky enough I already had mine from when I did a half a year internship in Canada couple of years ago, but otherwise I couldn't say if there could be anything else on AOR that SA doesn't have.

OMG!!! Just when Finland wins bronze, we got our SA!!! AOR never came, funny enough... Two AOR's yesterday for the applications received on the same day as mine in Mississauga and nothing to us while I was suspecting we had forgotten smth...

MICC to go through first and then it's off to London, where the real waiting game starts :D:D:D So relieved!!!

Congrats Aniabella! Both for your SA and the winning of bronze medal from your country at hockey ;)
Now its the time for Sweden and Canada to fight for gold. GO Canada GO!!!
Good luck Graihn 8)

39 days for me now and no SA, I'm getting a bit concerned since people who applied after me are getting their SA. Anyone have any suggestions of what I could do?

Some people have been getting their SA's through snail mail, maybe it's just on it's way. Have you tried to check your ECAS for any updates?

Good evening

Just logged into ecas, and got medical results have been received, under Permanent Residence Application Status.

Will someone please be kind to update our status?

Wish You All a Good Weekend!

Ya I checked alright, I got the AOR email last Friday, but nothing has changed. I will probably just wait for a another week and maybe ring.

It actually says that medicals have been received as well. I thought they only mentioned that at the next stage.

Hello!

Just checked my ECAS. It says "medical results received" Those would have been updated on Friday, February 21st (as the last time I checked was the 20th)

please update me on the spreadsheet :)

Thank you!

If you got AOR last Friday, you should get a decision this coming Friday by email or a note on your ecas saying they sent you a letter. That was the case for me... I'm waiting for the letter.

What I don't understand is why they sent AOR by email and decision by snail mail.

Can someone tell me if "medical results received" actually means SA is finished or if you could get that message even if SA isn't completed yet?

I'm not on spreadsheet but I've been waiting the longest according to the other people there. I received aor around Feb 5 but no SA.

Edit: It may mean they have made a decision. I saw "medicals received" about 3 days after the SA decision.

I also received AOR on Feb 5th and my ecas says they sent me a letter on Feb 12th. So check your ecas using your Client ID #(not file number) and you should hopefully see a similar note or should have received an email with the decision on SA.

Thanks. I've checked my ecas with client Id already and it just says my application is in progress or something like that.
