"This payment cannot be accepted in the UK." means if you decide to pay at a financial institution, then you must be in Canada to do that. See below: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp#pay-fee

Fee payment at financial institutions
If you do not wish to pay using the Internet, payment must be made at a financial institution in Canada. The financial institution will let you know what method of payment it accepts. There is no banking charge to pay at a financial institution.

Note The only acceptable forms of payment are on-line or through a financial institution in Canada. If you send any other form of payment your application will be returned.

Availability

For clients located inside Canada only.

Resources required

A payment receipt form (IMM 5401) can be ordered through our website.

Thanks for your response!
So I will just pay it from here in Sweden, email the .pdf receipt to my sponsor so it can be sent from within Canada to make it faster. Right?

Hey Edgehead, could you add to my comments section that I received a request for RPRF on April 30th, and paid it and sent in receipt on May 1st?

Thanks

Your comment have been added Graihn, thanks for updating.
Concerning your RPRF receipt, I think you can do what you said, email and send from here.

Also, just to be sure. I assume that CPC-Mississauga that I am to send the receipt to is the same as where I sent the application initially.

Correct.

For sure. Email the receipt to your spouse, who can then send the hard copy by courier to CPC-Missy.

If your sponsor use courier services the address is the same:
CPC - Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

If he is using regular mail, note that the PO Box and postal code changes from the one that receives applications:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

I found my information here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp

We can't remember everything we read Graihn. I happen to know this information because I'm doing exactly the same thing as you now. I also didn't pay the RPRF with the sponsorship fees. They didn't request that yet but I don't want to wait for them and delay the processing so I'm doing it in advance.

Yeah I was going to do it in June, because I didn't expect them to request it this early. More like July - August

Wow you got your request early! Seems like a good thing, I hope they'll ask me too soon. Though, maybe I'd just pay it off now, I just wasn't sure if it's ok to pay it now without the request.

Thanks, glad to be back. I had to resubmit some documents due to my error on 3/13 so I have not heard since. Waiting patiently, they were waiting those before proceeding so I really hope I'll get more info as I would also like to notify them about my pregnancy as well but not sure if and how I can do that.

HI monica! Your sponsor's status is decision made, because the sponsorship application was approved hence decision made. Yours says application received, because it's about the permanent residence application, the one that was forwarded to your VO. Which visa office was it forwarded to? All of them have a different timeframe, so it's hard to say any estimations without knowing which VO you're processing through. Would you like to join our spreadsheet as well since you're January applicant?
