So just got off the phone with CIC... My file is still in Sydney

All background checks were completed towards the end of May and is not awaiting transfer to the Mississauga office.

No idea what could cause such a long delay. Could be that I traveled quite a bit back home in 2012 to help my father with some issues he was facing. Other than that can't think of anything else.

I checked my ecas today and my received line has been disappeared. As well as process has been started for my kid.Does this mean transfer to local office?

it was in my case, a week after my daughter's file shown up on e-cas our file was transferred to local office.

So, my file is transferred to the local office in Kitchener, ON. I hope that the test is near.

Hello everyone,
I have been following the posts here since January, but this is my first post here. Just want to share my timeline. We landed in Canada July 2010, and I submitted my family application (me, my wife and 4 kids) on Jan. 2014.
I sent application on January 19, 2014 and CIC received it the next day.
CIC started the process March 20, 2014
Took the test June 24, 2014.
We will be taking the oath August 1, 2014.
Local office Scarborough.
