August 5th. Thinking PPR was delayed because father's FBI clearance took over 2 months.

We received our PPR yesterday! I have a question. Do both my parents need to travel together or can my mom travel earlier and my dad joins a little later??

You got me thinking so I just re-checked and yes we mailed the application on the 5th and was delivered to CIC on the 6th.

Got a letter today from CIC-M that our sponsorship was approved and the file has been transferred to the London office for further processing. Does anybody know how much longer this would take now???

Did not get GCMS. From what I can tell from the letter, the application would be reviewed again April 22nd / 23rd.

We sent our application to sponsor our parents in Jan 2015. Just heard back from CPC-M for additional documents (original copy of option C printout). Seems like these applications have finally started moving forward.

Took the oath of Citizenship today @ Mississauga office... entire process took a little over 9 months! Couldn't have hoped for a better experience!

If your address changed, you have to get your address updated with 30 days. That's the law!

Test passed today at the Mississauga office. Oath scheduled for October 9th. Looking forward to becoming a Canadian citizen soon!
