Do you guys know about your file transfer to local office? Yours should be transferred by now.

I called CIC 6 weeks ago and I was told that my file ha not been transferred yet. By the way my local office is Ottawa.

This is strange. Just to let you know that some people who applied on March/April, found their files got transferred to local offices.

Wait times for transfers depend on local offices and they're totally different, you don't want to mix different local offices together.

i do not know if my file has got transferred. I will wait for some more time before asking if my file has got transferred.

How long does it take cic to transfer citizenship application to local office in Etobicoke. How do u know if your file has been transfer without calling the customer services.

Can cic denied individual from becoming a citizen because OF THE problem and what the person was found with when the person came to seek refugee.I know of some who came in to Canada for refugee,he went to his hearing was approved by the JUDge despite every thing they found with him at the port of entry at THE time he was claiming his refugee. Now,he is a permanent resident and he is scared to apply for citizenship because he think cic will not allow him due to what was found with him before he became PR.PLS need a respons.

Hi Osun. This is not the right thread for your question. It would be better if you start a new thread or post this question in relevant thread. That way it is more likely that you will get a reply.
