Your description of the deep south rednecks made me laugh! Hey, I just realize that I maybe I'm married to one and I don't even know it! :P

I will one day get my husband to wear flannel. Or I will just wear it myself.... I'm secretly a cowgirl deep down inside - except no hats. My hair doesn't go with hats.

You should me talk. Sometimes the accent slips and I say things sooooo southern even I don't understand what I said.

Do you talk like that people from the show Here comes honey Boo Boo? I find sooo hard to understand what they say... :D

No, but I lived close to where they're from. I can understand them perfectly lol!

People here are horrified by Honey Boo Boo - but to me, that's more normal than a lot of the "city people" I see daily.

Hello PPL,

Well I wasn't horrified. I find that show quite entertaining and it makes me laugh. They're simple people and there's nothing wrong with that!

Hi Mangi, welcome!

You can get an idea of how long it is taking by checking the spreadsheet. This link here shows January applicants but on the bottom of the page you'll find the links for the previous months too. If you wish to join the spreadsheet send your timeline to Amikety, she is responsible for updating it: http://tinyurl.com/bls2hjh

Thank You nanediniz.

I see that the Delhi VISA office is quite slow... Could the reason be that, ppl arent updating their progress on the sheet or does it actually take so much time...

NDVO is a fast office. Their processing time is posted at 10 months. That means 80% of the applications will be done in 10 months or less. (Check out some of the other offices whic are 2 years or more!!!)

You can check the processing times here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp
Do you happen to know what day CIC got your application? It would be in your AOR letter.

My application was received by the CIC office on 24th Jan 2013 as mentioned in my timeline

Mangi

The average for Sao Paulo Visa Office is 6 months from application filled if no further documents or interview were required. I am hoping to have my PPR in the end of June or so... I wish I could land in July at the latest but that's being really optimistic.
What about your expectations on timing?
