Can u help me coz I got my VIsa already and Im not sure what should I do I mean the next step I'll do.What docs I need to comply bfore my flight?

What are other preparations should I make?

My God! an hour and a half later the DHL office called me for asking where specifically my place in Cebu. I think I got my Visa already!!! wohooo!!! I was shaking and pretty excited, I could jump for joy! I couldnt explain how happy I am now. But the thing is an hour and a half later they stilll didnt found my place yet. I am getting worried about that now.


Anybody here please help me with these questions?
1.) Is it possible that the CEM is sending the VIsa together with my passport usng the DHL? Is it possible that its just a plain letter for another document request?

2.) If I get my visa what should I do before I travel?

3.) what should I do after I landed?

Please please anybody help me with these info's?

Yes and maybe.

2.) If I get my visa what should I do before I travel?

Take the seminar called PDOS at CFO Manila.

3.) what should I do after I landed?

At the airport (sa canada na to) my konting interview with an immigration officer then, you sign your CPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residdence).
Apply for your SIN and Healthcard. Then wait few weeks for your PR card.
Then pasyal pasyal!

Based lang yan sa experience ko.

Hi,

1.) Yes, the VISA is attached on one of the pages of your passport. There will be another document which is the COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) which will come with your Visa and passport. You will need all these documents for your landing. ;D

2.) Attend the PDOS at CFO (for details you may further do research in this forum on this topic) ;D The sticker they will give you is required

3.) Go through immigration ( short interview, verification of documents)at your port of entry for your landing process. You will receive your PR card in one to two months after you have landed, secure your health card, SIN, and other pertinent documents and identifications on your first few weeks here. Don't worry, you will be receiving lots of guides and pamphlets from immigration on how to settle in after you have landed =) ;D


Other preparations- make sure you know the baggage limits of your airline, prepare the documents for customs for declaration of your baggage,and padespedida ka na sa mga friends and relatives mo (hehehe)
