I GOT MY APPROVAL!
I don't mean to rub it in for those of you still waiting...but 70 days for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to call them tonight...spoke with Tanya and she was the nicest so far. She told my I was approved March 9th...exactly 2 months after we applied. She said that I should receive an email and sometimes they send it 5 days after approval...so...
So happy and feel such relief!

Congratulations! that is great ... the decision was there since March 9 why they did not relief you of stress earlier!

Thanks to all those who posted details of their calls to CIC. It inspired me to do the same - the agent couldn't find any record of my file but suggested I try again next week. At least I came away with my (sponsor's) ID number - yay for small victories!
