Yes, there was a technical issue in early November, due to which they didn't ask for Biometrics fees. As the temporary policy for temporary residents biometrics reusability ended in June 2023, now all the applicants need to submit the biometrics even though they might have given that earlier. Did you pay the Biometrics fees and receive BIL already?

I am inland applicant with dependent who is inland as well, I already have previous biometrics and my dependent also has biometrics and our biometrics information got updated on profile today however I have received a request letter to resubmit the biometrics. Is this normal? should I just pay and get the Biometrics instructions letter again?

We submitted our application on 30th Nov, no movement since. I don't really know how the process works but from what I see in our account, UCI still starts with CAN and the application status is "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. "

It's okay, my application moved after 1 month 10 days. Submitted on Nov 9th, UCI and status changed Dec 19th.

No, not able to register on tracker yet.

My UCI got update on Dec 19, but still not able to register

It takes some time for the data sync between GCKey and Portal, but how much time, it's not mentioned anywhere. For some people we've seen it gets updated after 24 hours but for others take weeks. May be they need to manually trigger something, and its slow due to holidays.
