Are we supposed to gather all documents first and then start the application or start the application first and then add/upload documents as I get them?

I mean, can we leave our profile as it is until we arrange all the documents? Or is there anything like accepting the invitation and then proceed with the application?

You are allowed to access both sections whenever you can, upload and remove documents as much as you can TILL submitting your application.

Hi.
I received my eligibility to graduate letter in October 2014 after which I applied for and received my Postgraduate work permit in November 2014. However, I received my degree in February 2015 (date on transcripts and degree: Degree awarded- February 4, 2015). Now, I received an Invitation to apply in Express entry based on one year Canadian work experience (November 2014-November 2015) over my PGWP. I am not sure from when does CIC counts Canadian experience as in my case My official degree has graduation date as FEB 2015 while I have been working on PGWP- since NOV. 2014. This happened because I met all the requirements to graduate in late September and the very next date for declaring graduation was only in Feb. As i had already completed all the needed requirements for qualification, University gave me eligibility to graduate letter over which I was able to apply and get PGWP in Nov. 2014. Though I received degree in winter convocation (feb 2015). Please someone guide me how should I calculate my Canadian 1 year work experience-
a) from Nov 2014 to Nov 2015 - based on the issue date of PGWP, or
b) Feb 2015 to Nov 2015- Date of degree awarded as shown on final transcripts and degree.

I need to accept / decline y ITA accordingly plzz help!!!!

Any chance you could put that file on somewhere like Google docs? 4 shared tried to get me to download a load of adware when I clicked the wrong download link, and then when I found the right one, it needed me to sign up. I could do without signing up for yet another service.

If you can't, then fair enough, for those wanting to download, I suggest using 10minutemail as you then get a temp email address, user that to create the 4 shared account if you don't plan on using it again and don't want to be so spammed by them or whoever they may share your email address with

No it is not a rejection, you can also submit a Letter of Explanation stating that the package was returned because of the maximum cap.

With regards to documentation, what needs to be submitted for employment records?

I am planning to submit offer letter, letter of employment (containing the joining date and job title) and salary certificate. From the company where I was previously employed, i can only submit an offer letter+employment certificate as the company wont provide details of all jobs/positions held in a document.

Can anyone tell me if this would suffice for the PR application?

I think you should be fine. I'd be surprised if CIC rejects somebody on this basis. It is common that people receive their certificate months ahead of the end of the programme. Make sure you attach the Eligibility to Graduate letter along with your certificate, and to be on the safe side, provide a small LOE. I wouldn't reject my ITA if I were you..

No this wouldn't suffice, sadly. You are not providing the info in the required format by CIC. You'll need a letter of employment from the employer itself stating all the required info:

the following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;

If you're not able to, make sure you get the letter of employment they've written you, and get a boss or a colleague to write a notarized affidavit stating the missing info, and upload along any secondary evidence you may have (payslips, offer letter etc).

Forgot to post my question! Did upfront medicals today. Clinic had the eMedical system. Was given a UMI number. Is this what everyone gets?
