481 here too. Congrats everybody.

rsingh86, I think about 24 hours. In any case I got the ITA already.

Now what's the deal with the Medical exam? Should I just do it or am I supposed to submit the application and then wait for CIC to request me to do it?

Just book an appointment with local medic-enter with panel physician for an upfront medical for PR, and they will send your medical to CIC.

Just Got ITA. When I log in MyCIC account, it asks if I want to pay both application fee and RPRF together because paying RPRF upfront will accelerate the processing. I have had an old CEC application (before Jan 1 2015). If I paid RPRF upfront here with EE but my old CEC sends RPRF request later, can I have my payment linked to the old CEC application? Thanks a lot for any advise.

Congrats ufa6174 and everyone here who got ITA. Guess this would be the best black friday gift ever :D

I am not really sure on how the medicals work. But I did an upfront medical when I applied for my visit visa. I think it was like 7 months ago or so, maybe it would be still valid

Hi all!
I think I received an ITA because I've got their email notification. Yet to confirm on mycic account.
What is the cutoff anyway?

I got it too!! My score is probably one of the lowest here in this thread: 474, FSW, Outland.

It was already after mid-night, and I was surprised to see an email from donotreply CIC, and I instantly checked the account and saw the ITA. It was quite a surprise as I had thought that there would be no draw this week.

I entered the pool on Oct 10 and, as you can imagine, have been feeling a bit frustrated with the last 2 draws and the the long wait. In fact I had started learning French about less than a month ago and have made quite a lot of progress, having amassed around 1500 vocabulary (I already have basic grammar from previous study out of pure interest). My plan was to be able to take TEF in about a year or less (which I think is totally doable – see the link I posted below), as I had already achieved maximum points in the other components.

And guess what! –– I will continue with the learning (but not necessarily going to take TEF though). It's been fun with the right materials and software, and I like French anyways.

Here is the link to a 10-year old post about how a Russian speaker managed to achieve Advanced points in TEF in just a year (who is currently living in Montréal):

But of course getting ITA is not the same as getting PR, but it's a good start!!!!!!

Congrats to everyone who's gotten their ITA in this round. Best of luck with your applications. Good to see the scores again dropping. All the best to everyone still in the pool. Hope we all get our ITAs soon. :)

Got my ITA today.
Score 1040 with Ontario pnp,
One small question, if I want to be processed under CEC, for POF, how much I should put in?
If I put 12000, is there possibility that they will evaluate me under FSW instead of CEC?

My score is 475.
How should I start? Is it advised to get Police Check and Medical Exam asap?

Congratulations for everyone who got the ITA...the high score trend still continues...will it ever come down...my profile expires on 15th April..guess I would have to enter again & wait..& the waiting game continues
