Hi everyone,
My cousin will be graduating from Concordia this Fall semester - she completed the required french course (FRAN 305 oral communication) and has taken the TEFAQ to fullfill the french language requirement. She is actually only required to take the course or do the TEFAQ according to the immigration.quebec website but she decided to do both because of the horror stories with MIDI and the french proficiency “refusal” nonetheless a few of her friends have been rejected so the question is: is the PEQ graduate stream almost impossible? It seems that even those who fulfill the requirements are still being rejected so any insights? Did anyone recently apply and got the CAQ/CSQ? If it makes a difference she is Egyptian - I heard Asians and Middle Easterns are “targeted” by MIDI for interviews and rejections.
Any insights would be highly appreciated.
Best,
Lila
