Someone say yes and some others say no...

Should I get a Canadian Police Certificate and submit it along with my application? I think the instruction indicates that the VO requires police certificate for each country in which the applicant has stayed for 6+ months with the exception of Canada. Am I correct???

Thanks!!!

Yes, that's what i remember reading in the guide. And didn't include my Canadian Police Certificate because they don't need it.

You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens have to provide:
* a valid police certificate, or
*police clearance, or
*record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18

Please refer PAge# 14 inthe guide. It clearly says, Other than Canada.

Thank you, sai_murthy. Does it means that it is not necessary?

yes it is not necessary. Don't worry about getting a police certificate from Canada.
