Hi .. I have a question regarding a visitor visa application from outside Canada (my nationality is Yemei but i live in Saudi Arabia). Can a friend in Canada write an invitation letter for me even though there is no blood relationship between me and the friend in Canada?

Yes she definitely can invite you but the approval of your application will depend on your ability to prove to the VO that you have strong ties to your country of residence strong economic and social ties demonstrate your intentions to return back home.

Invitation letters have little to no impact on immigration decisions. There are hundreds of cases on this forum were visa was declined for applications submitted with invitation letters.
What the VO is mainly interested in is how likely you are to return home and not be an overstay risk.
Hopefully you get to visit your friend in Canada soon! Good luck.

Can you provide any documentary evidence of the contract if you can do so it may convince the VO of your intention to return. Do you have any property or assets in your name in KSA if yes then that too may improve your chances. Attach a letter of explanation highlighting the family ties specifically your daughter who is not accompanying you and also emphasise that your sole purpose is tourism and keep your visit to just 3 to 4 weeks . Your previous visit history also is a point in you favour. Good luck with your application.

i can show a contract of my work. but i do not have any proerty in my name.
i already visited Canada twice only for tourism, and i left on time on my both trips. can this improve my application.

While your previous visits might add some weight to your application but your current situation is what they will be more interested in. In all honesty, visiting a friend is not a very convincing reason to come to Canada given your circumstances.
why my circumstances are not convincing? i can't just overstay in Canada where i know little people. my WHOLE family is in Saudi

I am not a VO but I am speaking from what I have read on this forum itself. That being said, if I was a VO evaluating your application, I would look for below:
1. Whether you are a permanent resident/citizen of UAE - to eliminate your chances of trying to claim asylum in Cabada.
2. Purpose of visit: how long have you known this friend and why are they interested in sponsoring your stay.
3. Your work history : recent graduates are more prone to try finding a job in Canada and work illegally/overstay.
4. Your family at home country: You have that covered as you have no relatives here but also makes reevaluate 2.
5. Your finances: If you are not economically established in your home country, it's unusual to take an expensive trip.

Above is strictly my opinion. Good luck with your application.
UAE and KSA are two different countries FYI.

As long as the applicant can demonstrate her/his financial capacity and ties to her/his home country the VO may have no problems.

Not that simple. Lol. There are lots of people on this forum alone who have good finances and several ties to their home country but are denied Visa. Most of the cases are unique and involve a lot of factors other than you have mentioned.

Thanks for correcting, I currently live in India and keep mixingup middle eastern countries. The point however is for OP to have a permanent status in their country of residence as their citizenship is from Yemen.
i know people who have strong reasons but still get refused just because they are not good in preparing evidence for the application.

True but majority of those who have been refused were first time applicants here the OP has been to Canada twice before and has honoured her terms of TRV by returning back so logically the VO is now looking for changes is her current financial status and social ties.

Hi. My friend sponsored to visit Canada so for the visa application to be expedited we asked an agency to process the application and that agency is coming from Ukraine and last Jan. 9 I got an email from them stating that they had finished the application and I am just now waiting for the interview at the embassy here in Philippines but for the visa supporting documents and other documents to be delivered to me I need to pay a certain amount but before I'll do the payment I want to make sure first if my visa was really processed cause I already the copy of my visa so I had the reference number of my visa and I am asking help from on how I could verify if it was really processed. Thank you.
