Yes i have received my passport, and my interview is just in a few days. Yes my wife is here from Canada with me and we will be going together. We are not really worried as we know our relationship is genuine. Best of luck to everyone who has interviews in the upcoming months.

Hi Ankit, why have they returned your passport if they have invited you for an Interview. I have sent my passport to ND in March too, they scheduled my interview in next one but have not got my passport back yet. Do they return passport to everyone?

Hi Ankit, why have they returned your passport if they have invited you for an Interview. I have sent my passport to ND in March too, they scheduled my interview in next one but have not got my passport back yet. Do they return passport to everyone?

no they dont return everyone's passport back. ankit is living in UK on student visa and submitted his PP from there, as he has received interview invitation so he requested ND to send his PP back so he can fly to India

PR holders are supposed to stay inside Canada for whole processing time. i think you are very close to DM and dont do anything that can cause delay or something worst. someone from pakistan got rejection because sponsor was PR and outside of Canada. i am not sure but i would suggest not to call your wife to India at this point.

Thanks anshunandal..... yes u r right.... but I don't understand...... becoz my case is genuine in reality as well as on paper too... just that we have not done any religious ceremony and we have never lived together as I went to India got married and came back..she still stays with her parents !!! I guess that might be the reason.

we got a call from ottawa -access to information and privacy number and they said, they are having big backlog of application and trying to deliver notes within 30 days. i told them that we have passed 30 days and he said - they are trying to do asap.
i dont know if we will be able to get notes before interview or not

OK, it doesnt work really, you cant talk to them directly. you will have to leave voice msg and then they will contact you. my mother-in-law is calling them for last 10-15 days and leaving 3-4 msgs everyday then they called her last night.

Its so strange to see that chc makes you struggle to get notes n replies for your query. To get ur visa is like a war with chc

Cricket365 - prepare well foe your intwrview. If your case is true n genuine then it would be a cakewalk for you. I know that we all wants to know whats going at ND but this should nt bother you much. Concentrate on your life and interview rest wil be done at its own.
