@Pajbot
I think you should consult Darkness who has been to interviews, and he survived both interrogation sessions judging by the way his application is progressing.

Hi everyone,

As my friend had informed me about his interview..............

He was asked.....

1. When did u get married?,1st outing after marriage, likes and dislike of his spouse on foods, intertainments, watching movies etc., post marriage photos...how was the marriage ceremony.....
2. what is yr job position and duties? When did u registared your marrage?
3. Name of the principal at College( he was under NOC 4131, College Lecturer).
4. When do you leave yr home for the duty? Name of some other staffs at the college.

then the complain was on his language level ( had got 5.5 in IELTS)

how could you dare to work as College and other vocational instructor, as most of the immigrants from INdia and Nepal under this NOC r being unable to contribute on this occupation?

He had replied that he would search for other survival jobs at the begening.......from which VO caught the point that he will be unable to work for his occupation........and situation turned to unfavourable........

Immediatly his spouse was called and asked some common questions who also could not show her language proficency.....

At last VO being completly dissatified told that he is not satisfied with their lg level and they would be unable to be stablished in Canada ...also informed that he will send the information in written.......so...bad luck......

BUT...still his status is IN Process nad has not got any info frm CHC ( 2.5 months passed)

( confusion: OP6 says that interview will not be made to judge for language level of the applicants...is it possible..seniors pls?)

Another successful interview.......(2nd friend)

Just asked some questions about merriage/ job duties/ experience/duty hours etc......and immediately informed that Could i send your medical form on your preset address...?..........got medical within 1 months since the date of interview.......

So interviews r according to our case...situations....just we should clarify the confusions and we must be responsible and stand for the info.that we have given with our application.......

Hope that it will be helpful for the concerned...
rgds.
Prashant.

In my interview, my wife also attend it with me. First she asked some general questions, Education, marriage, child, job, etc. Then she asked for the responsibilities as an IT Manager:
How many employees, what kind of servers in the company, whom do I report, what kind of internet/security/server policies implemented, how many employees under me, and what responsibilities I have assigned to them, what softwares I designed, what was the front-end what’s the back-end, etc.

She asked how will you find job there, have you search the internet or other source to see the job market there. I said NO but one or two times I just googled to check and I see many jobs there, and I'm very confident I will make my position there. I mentioned her that this thing is going to be happen 2nd time in my life, first when I moved to Dubai, I worked hard and today I’m very successful here. Then she said many people let their family stay in Canada and come back to UAE, what are you plans!!! I strictly denied to her and said, I believe in myself and will turn things into my favor, I’m going make Canada my home, from the starting of my marriage I keep my family with me and there is no possibility we get apart.

She asked my wife also regarding her job and responsibilities, even she only worked for two months as an Electrical Engineer.

In the end she said she is fully satisfied and also, give a compliment on speaking English :)

This whole session was about 40-45 minutes.

You should know what you have written in your application and 100% confident on it.
Keep Three copies of the letter you received for the interview, one will be taken at the reception, one you should show to the officer and keep one with you. I had only one which was taken at the reception and in front of officer’s computer screen she was expecting different documents.

By the way... I received passports stamped with visas yesterday afternoon.
