Hi all, just thought I'd ask this question as I can find no record of it being asked before. Also, please note this is not a movement for change thread.
Why do CIC not consider designations as being worthy of recognition? I have 2 CA Accounting designations and I had to work extremely hard to pass the exams. I'm sure others have other designations they've worked hard for as well. In my profession to establish professional credibility you need a designation.
Appreciate any insights from anyone as to why CIC does not accommodate hard working people who have worked hard to get professional designations?
Thank you for your replies.
