Hi, I am a December applicant(my application arrived on Dec 8 2009)
My husband received his sponsor approval letter 2 weeks ago, and I received a letter for an interview last week.
I applied in land family class with no status, so I am guessing this interview is going to be one of those, being asked lots of questions... but I am very happy to have my interview finally!

I think they are sending letters to late November and early December applicants now.
I am not sure if you are a November applicant, but hope you hear from them soon too!

btw..i CANT believe it they stepped into december..at last :-X yey to BlueDragon!

i bet summer vacation is over for lazy bums, and time to get to work..and fast!

actually im pretty pissed/annoyed/depressed with their work speed. but it comes and goes, these moods.

Please God help me. I don't know if I wait any longer.

I know I have only been waiting for about 2 months now but not even knowing if they approve my application of being complete or if they even received it, is driving me crazy. ???

How long after your application began to process did it take for it to show up on ECAS?
I have began to notice that it takes 2 and a half months for it to start processing after sending it so mine should starting soon. End of September, early October?

Do you think that if I call like the last few days of September to ask if it is in process yet, they would be able to tell me? Because for some reason I think they will see it in their computer before it gets posted on ECAS.

u should calm down, everythings gonna be fine. find smthing to keep u busy. i waited for 3 months till i got news. because i got worried about my status (i sent request to extend my stay with my application) i called after 3 months and the lady said usual "we work on applications received in october blablabla" and she cant tell me anything. then same day later i checked my mail and i found a letter from them sending me 1 year visitor status extension. in that letter i found my client ID and with it i logged in and saw that our papers are in process. so my app was started after 2 months and 18 days or so.
so be little bit more patient

Just to know my application is there safely and that they are actually working on it.

So I guess I can safely assume that if I check the mail over the next 3 weeks and my application isn't there then it probably won't be getting returned.

We waited 6 months before we heard anything. The only reason we knew it was received was that we sent it registered mail. At the 6 - month mark we were able to log into e-cas, then got a letter saying "sent to local office". It will be a year next week with no other communication and no changes on e-cas. However, better no news than bad news!!

Just try to be patient! Stressing doesn't make it go faster or help either of you....
