Under GCkey details it will say application update. Then it returns back to submitted.

I didn't receive an email but when I logged into GCkey, under 'Current status', it said it's updated or something but there was no change in the full application status page.
I got ghost update 2 days ago
Then today I got a letter message in gckey that my eligibility requirements passed!
However my status bar still no change
update: I just checked again and just realized that the letter means I got approved in principle (AIP)
This is exactly what's in the letter:
Your application is “approved in principle (AIP)” if: you have received a letter from IRCC stating that you meet the permanent residence eligibility requirements, but. you still have to pass the medical, security and background checks for you and, if needed, your family members

Congrats! When did you submit your app? Looks like approvals such as DM and aip are taking place for us Jan applicants
And your current status is not expired or remove order? Some jan applicant gor it really quick also because their status expired.

Yes I still have my status, entered Canada with TRV at Nov 30, 2018 and got my OWP on March 2019).

Dec 27 PR and OWP submitted
Jan 4 - Application received
Mar 1 - PR AOR
Mar 5 - OWP returned in mail due to incomplete fees
Mar 5 - PR Medical request
Mar 25 - OWP resubmitted
Mar 26 - Medical complete
Mar 26 - OWP received per mail
Apr 5 - PR medical passed
April 12 - Connected PR to GCKey
April 18 - Connected OWP to GCKey
Jun ? - PR BGC started
Jun 4 - I had a PR ghost update
Jun 14 - Another PR ghost update
