(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category and subcategory that you applied for.
(6) Then select Application Number and Family name
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form. PUT YOUR FAMILY NAME IS THIS FORMAT - Smith (ensuring the first letter is capitalized) THEN PUSH SPACE BAR ONCE. Then fill in Application number and AGAIN PUSH SPACE BAR ONCE.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH, DO NOT FILL IN ANY PASSPORT INFORMATION. AGAIN WRITE ON THE SAME FORMAT (CAPITALISED FIRST LETTER OF YOUR CITY) AND PUT A SPACE AFTERWARDS
(9) Select Province and town you intend to live in (as on your IMM0008) and select current marital Status.
(10) Finally select 2 as the number of family members AND AGAIN ADD A SPACE AT THE END.
(11) Once you fill all information, Click on Search for my application
(12) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(13) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

That's bad...Dont worry, my application was returned on January for missing signature,i resubmitted within one week and now i am here...you are just two months behind.It will go-through next time. All the best

Still can't link owp.. . It's now been 8 days since I got aor and linked my app.. Starting to lose hope getting depressed..

I checked the mailbox today and surprisingly I got my OWP app returned to me due to insufficient payment! I never thought i'll have this issue and followed the advise of the multicultural office we visited. I think we missed some portion of payment.

Im gonna fix this today and send it back right away. Guys would this mean i need to wait for another 6-7 weeks??

Hope CPC doesnt make it so hard for all of us. They could just call us give a reference number and pay.

After all, couldnt blame them since I myself made the mistake. But Considerations wouldnt hurt.

Walk away from the forums and your computer and the system to check it for a while and take a deep breath. Looking at the spreadsheet, most people didn't start seeing OWP stuff until at least 10+ days after AOR. Have patience. This is an incredibly long process.

Guys since my OWP is returned today due to one missing payment, do I need to generate a new forms again and use the date today? Or il just settle the payment send it back to them with the same form?

Hope to get answers so I wont have them returned to me again.

If it were me, I would update with all new forms since you're having to resubmit your application.

Edit: Unless what was sent back instructed otherwise

Also was it just your OWP or the entire package? If just OWP, why not file online?

Just the OWP was sent back to me. My PR current status is In Process via ECAS.

I read the letter and I just found out theres a continuation at the back. Theres a note in bold letters saying

THE ENTIRE PACKAGE, INCLUDING ALL THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS/ INFORMATION REFERENCED IN THE ABOVE AND A COPY OF THIS LETTER MUST BE RESUBMITTED TO:

CPC Edmonton

I think and based from my understanding, even though its returned it will be prioritized since they want to keep the same pckage I send them last January.

Please correct my understanding about the note. Seems pretty straightforward that i just need to settle the missing fee whicH is the WORK PERMIT FEE

Now that, I have no idea. Me being the paranoid person that I am, I'd send all of it back with the updated payment, AND a new set of application papers filled out and submitted with a note stating "I'm unsure if I needed to submit a new application or not, so am including one just in case. If it is unneeded, please discard." :p Perhaps someone who has had a comparable letter could shed some light. It seems that sometimes the missed payment causes the entire application (including PR) to be sent back. Luckily was just your OWP.

Hey guys! I just checked my gckey account and my OWP application says "Application/Profile Updated". However, i haven't received any messages in my account and it still says "we're processing your application" when I click on detailed information. Everything else was the same before except now it says "Application/Profile Updated" instead of "Submitted"
Has this happened to any of you guys?

Guys done resending my returned OWP. I hope it will be processed as soon as possible. Just added the missing payment and sent back the same whole pckage. There was a stamp when the document was received last january. I think that means something and instructed also to include the letter back. Hope the instructions came with a good reason to at least consider the date when it was originally sent and received.

Anyone here has experienced the same case as mine? And got their OWP apprived after sending to a more specific address for spouses OWP request?
