Medical exam passed.
Not need a interview.
No need your finger prints.
That's all I got it.

Okay me too. At least you know your medical is "passed" and not just "received". I am dec 14 applicant still waiting for another update so you have to wait too

i was not aware that we can check the status of sponsorship too. But just now after reading your posts I checked mine. it says

SPONSORSHIP APPLICATIONS STATUS- Application received
PR- In Process

Upon clicking the status comes like below:

for sponsorship-

1. We received your application to sponsor XXXXXX on December 31, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 13, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on March 12, 2019.

for PR-
We received (applicant name) application for permanent residence on December 31, 2018.

Can anyone advise on this status.

additon #2 in PA ecas- we started processing your application on March 30, 2019.

However the main status remains same as mentioned earlier- sponsor side (application received) and PA Side (in process)

What to expect next.

Unless of course you know it will take time to get police certificates from your country if origin, then perhaps you can look into the process. We sent our police certificate in with the application.

Thank you They received December 25th. I already submitted certificates from country of origin and another country.

Does everyone else's BGC status say "not applicable"? I am thinking I am not the only one, I sent police clearance with my PR but if I passed it would say "passed" right?

Still haven’t received Medical request? Am a December 10th Applicant, have received my OWP. But it seems they only start your background check if they’ve done your Medical is that correct?

No. BGC is a whole process which includes checks on criminality and security. This will be the final hurdle in the PR process, so sit tight.
