I have been waiting since July, 2019! AOR was July 30th, 2019!
Inland paper based in Ontario. It is unbelievable how long this is taking. 26 months.

So it’s over few months.
EE application used to take 6 months for some it’s not more than 40 lol
5x processing time
I’m sorry, didn’t know this thread was only for EE. 26monrhs is still a long time and it’s 8 months over processing time. Please be considerate to others

It is a lot indeed. Like crazy a lot.
But I am just saying that people who applied via EE not processed within 6 but 30 months if lucky nowadays - so you can see what a mess is going on right now

Why can not you apply for online CEC or other programs? Paper-based is the worst! I had a friend of mine who waited over 2 years for paper-based before COVID!

Anyone who is dealing with Etobicoke had any ghost updates during the whole process? I am crossing 10 months mark with zero ghost updates.

1) Do I need to show proof of funds, I am bit confused because few posts stating that POF is not necessary for the candidates who is working in Canada

If you are employed in Canada, you do not have to show PoF. However, when you filed your application you should have mentioned this in the Loe.

Same shit. Almost 10 months since aor.
Your file was sent to Etobicoke after R10 at CIO and then Etobicoke sent it to Vancouver without touching your file at all?
Yes I guess that's what happened when I called last January they said my application is in background check, called again in June same thing and called again just last Wednesday still in background check only changes was my medical got expired
