Hi Kimiz,
I think you can only reschedule the appointment for your case. Hope your father is safe and healthy! I have a question.. I'm the primary applicant(my PR husband sponsored me and we have both SA and AIP) and my husband and I have to travel out of the country for a similar reason. If your husband had not received the decision made, how would he have convinced the border officer to get re-entry, what documents would he have provided the officer? Because I have read that travel during in-land application have the risk regarding re-entry.

Personally, I wouldn't risk it unless I absolutely had to. Make sure you have a valid visa to enter (if required; OWP doesn't work). Bring evidence that you were out to deal with a sick family member. CBSA and CIC/IRCC are both run by the same organization, and both use GCMS. They will see your case and case notes.

Thank you.. I will be 8 months pregnant when I return. Do I have to inform about my pregnancy to CIC? Do I have to inform CIC before I leave that I will be out of country for 2 weeks? I dont have GCMS notes ordered, is it okay to show only the email information which CIC sent me?

CIC needs to know of the baby is born before process is complete. CBSA has GCMS in front of them. I don't think notice is required, but of you don't attend landing and you don't reschedule, they will cancel your app.

I can't believe this day finally came through for me. I landed today and didn't spend more than 5 mins. I got in at 7:45 and waited until 8am to enter into the office since my appointment was for 8:15. I waited for my number to be called out and I left at 8:45.
Gosh!!!! The feeling of freedom. A huge Weight off my shoulders. For everyone waiting, the day will come trust me. It took my faith in God to learn patience and trust Him.
I made sure I had my application reviewed before u submitted because I didn't want to have any unnecessary delay. So for those who are yet to apply, pls have your application reviewed, there are free centers that help out with this. I can't remember the one I went but I do remember the name I will share.
You do not need a lawyer if you follow the guide lines and seek clarification.
I wish everyone well and I am not leaving this forum because I know I can contribute and share my experiences with everyone.

I am sooooooo oooo happy. Dec 2015 application is over! Yippee

Congrats!

Landed today in Etobicoke, finally the wait is over. The whole process along with the waiting took an hour.
To everyone who is waiting, your turn is coming soon. Trust me the wait will be worthy at the end.

Hi everyone,

My ecas showed "DM" on Feb 17, 2017. A CIC agent confirmed to me that it was approaved and then transferred to Montreal local office for landing. Agent said that the wait time before landing was 8 weeks. Since Montreal is physically close to the American border, the delay in Montreal office is possibly due to the unexpected inflow of Syrian refugees from the US to Canadian border after the application of "Muslim ban".

So far it's has been 5 weeks and I didn't receive a landing letter nor a DM letter.

Does anyone know any email for Montreal local immigration office?

Thanks
