I got AIP in novermber and I still waiting for my decision. Is this normal? They asked for my police records though and I just sent it last week.

That has been more than 16 months. You have a reason to complain to them. I would sent them message via IRCC and keep doing it until they reply

Would MP help?

Honestly most of the comments I read about when the MP get involve, the MP give the applicants the same info cic gives you and they told you to wait.

I spoke to them as recent as last week and they say 26 months, even when I told them AIP exceeds the allotted time.

yes... they removed the 16 months processing time information for the AIP... to cover themselves... again! By not providing this information, no one can complain on that basis.

Got landed today in Etobicoke. The interview is only 5-15 minutes, however the wait was almost 4 hours total. so take a day off on that day. after i got my COPR, someone is there from service canada for SIN, so applied for it and i also did the OHIP, however OHIP will be valid after 3 months. I got the OHIP that will be valid in June 15. :)

Good luck to all and congratulations! :)

Thanks,

Congrats Demire! You must be so happy.

Hello everybody, today is my landing interview... Can anybody tell me what all they normally ask?

Sponsor questions: ever declared bankruptcy or been charged with a crime.

Applicant: ever been denied entry to Canada, do you have any dependents, have you ever been charged with a crime.

Good luck!

Refused visas are considered "denied entry to Canada?"
