The interview is only 5-15 minutes, however the wait was almost 4 hours total. so take a day off on that day. after i got my COPR, someone is there from service canada for SIN, so applied for it and i also did the OHIP, however OHIP will be valid after 3 months. I got the OHIP that will be valid in June 15.
Good luck to all and congratulations!

Don't get me wrong, I want everyone to get through. But 26 months should no longer applies and the fact that they are still telling us 26 months means they are focusing on the newer applications because of the shorter processing and putting ours to the side. Not taking into consideration that our lives have been in limbo since 2015. Am I the only one who thinks that's unfair, yet we can not do anything about it. :'( :'( :'(
Gloria, the 26 months is a lie. They cover themselves because we can't complain until we reach their processing time. Official statistics are released every trimesters. At the end of the end trimester of 2016 (end of September), the processing time was 23 months. Stats for the 4th trimester are not yet released, from what I understand, they should be released at the end of this trimester. For sure it will be much shorter and IRCC will continue to say 26 months just to cover themselves. This is not fair for us that should have been processed already, but we have to hang on, soon our turn will come.Gloria217 said:I am honestly confused as to why our applications are taking this long. Doesn't make any sense for me to call cic anymore, they are just going to reiterate that my 26 months expires in september. And that is just putting salt in the wound, since we all know 26 months is crap. At some point the wait feels like punishment.carolbb23 said:i got SA after 16 months but our journey started December 15,2015 now for my husband part for them to proof of relationship to continue to work on permanent residence so we need 2 things next week ho to his rep office to send off everything than pay for his rrpf I found out he past criminal and background check I dunno I suggest you keep calling
I know we have to wait but when there is no movement at all with the application and then you realize your application is gathering dust somewhere. Because if they can process application in a year, there is no need for us to still be waiting since most of us surpass 19 months.sylvain1 said:Gloria, the 26 months is a lie.
