They requested marriage certificate, divorce certificate of previous marriage, birth certificate of the sponsor (we sent those documents with the application for sure, who knows why they needed them one more time. Plus they requested additional proof of the relationship

OMG Abra! couldnt believe you have similar situation as mine. The difference is i have kids from my previous marriage. Alas! some of the decisions made by someone else put our lives in disaster :'(

Hi my ecas is showing "application received"
Is there any difference if its showing "in process"? Just curious.

And ive been trying to link my account to my gckey but it wont. Im thinking probably because we have a lawyer??

Are you checking on the PA side or the Sponsor side? You likely have in process for the sponsor and application received on the principal applicant side.
And yes, I read several time in different threads that you cannot link your application if you have a representative.

All sponsors info? How about application number n UCI? I never even logged in to sponsors ecsa

Its simple... just enter all your sponsor's info, such as his UCI number, Last Name, DOB, and where he/she was born.

COngrats!!! I'm an Aug 25, 2015 applicant too. I am still waiting for decision made!!

Hi all, I am an august 2015 inland applicant and my husband received SA and I received AIP email in July 2016 and haven't heard back since then. This is my AIP email content (It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements).

Everytime I call CIC, they say my application is under review/security check as of January 2017. I have a valid open work permit. I'm six months pregnant with my first baby. I have to travel to another country for an important reason for a couple of weeks in the the third week of APril. I am not sure if I have to take visa for work permit and just travel or believe that I will get my PR before the third week of APril.(Note: I haven't received DM/landing letter/landing interview/PR card yet). please write your comments/thoughts
