i received an email which states:
Confirmation of Permanent Resident Appointment
"Your final determination for permanent residence interview has been scheduled at the above address. Please be prepared to wait up to 2.5 hours as interviews are conducted in order of arrival."
Is this the landing interview?
THe officer asked us to bring all the Temporary Resident Documents issued by CIC.
What are the possible questions to be asked in this interview?
It's kinda exciting and nervous at the same time.

Yes, Landing interview! :) They ask you to bring the Temp resident documents because those are no longer valid once you land. They take them from you. No need to be nervous---only excited! :) CONGRATS!!!! When are you landing?

Thank you that relieves a bit!
Are there still anymore questions to be asked?

Hello,

Is landing interview the same as landing or you have to go to a Canada border after the interview to land and become a permanent resident?
Just curious to know!

Quick update from us...
Applied Oct 15 2015, upfront medical, etc., had to submit additional info twice, but my wife landed as PR successfully on Aug 11, 2016.

The whole thing took about 20 months less than anticipated, so now we have nothing left to worry about :)

For inland applicants, the landing interview is your landing.

They generally ask a few questions: Is the information on the COPR correct (do you have any dependents, criminal record, etc), does your sponsor still want to sponsor you, and possibly ID showing your address.

Relax! The landing interview/appointment is a GOOD thing.

You will be asked to look over the COPR to verify that the information is correct. You will then be asked 3 basic questions that are usually, something along these lines:

1. Have you committed a crime?

2. Have you been told to leave Canada?

3. Has your family changed (marriage/divorce, etc.)?

That's pretty much it. You initial the answers and then sign the COPR. The officer signs the COPR and then says "Congratulations. You are now a PR of Canada."

thank you so much, we will have no problems then!

Hi guys below is what i got when trying to link my wife application

We just tried to link our application but ran into an issue.

"Disassociate Representative
Based on the information you entered, we found: 1 application

We see that you have a representative tied to this application. Your representative has access to your application.

If you no longer want to use a representative and access the application yourself, you can cancel your representative by filling out the Use of a representative form [IMM5476] (PDF, 647.96 kb) and choose "cancelling the appointment of a representative."

After completing the form, you can upload it here:"

So our representative says he's not into this online thing and that i can use his info to do the link. But my question is, can i do that?

I hope that I will receive the AIP soon.
I applied on 8th April, 2015. Got a background check and CSQ request on 16th June, 2016.
Applied CSQ on 8th June, 2016. And sent my background info to CPC-V online next week.
Did the medical check on Feb, 2016.
I also requested GCMS, but nothing really helpful.

I want to genuinely thank everyone here for all the information and support it has been such a process.
If anyone has pointers on landing interview let me know!
How do I know if I paid the $490 PR fee already? Will look through my receipts tonight.

After a total of 17 months waiting finally, received the landing appointment.
Thank you to this forum, the sharing of timelines really helps a lot
most especially the opinions and experience being shared.
The frustration that we've experienced being an early 2015 applicant
is finally over.
Hoping more March- May 2015 applicant get DM soon.
Wish you all the best!
Cheers ;)

congrat! Finally I can see a little bit progress and this gives us a ray of hope.
Today called CIC agent and he does not give any useful info.
He just said to send msg for us to CIC M and to call again if nothing will be heard in a month.
Hope all unlucky March-August applicants have a speedy processing!
