Got my GCMS notes yesterday. Nothing particular to note other than seeing that my file is part of the Inventory Reduction Programming (SIR). Medical is marked as Passed - Expired so I'm hoping they won't make me retake as it's not exactly cheap.

is there anyone here who has a request of medical reassessment of dependents?

IRCC has requested MR reassessment review and forwarded it to RMO manila (based on GCMS notes). however, only 2 of my dependents were requested to take the reassessment. excluding my wife. its been almost a couple of months now and i have not heard any request from RMO manila for a medical reassessment for my wife's Med Results.

is there a chance that i will get PPR by September this year?

Hi i alsi applied on 20 Februaru 2015.. But since July I haven't heard from cic.

They asked me for additional documents and I have submitted that ..,

I check ecas daily but no progress ):..

When did you submit the extra documents? I think if you're missing something, they set your whole application to the side. There's a deadline for the information to be sent back to them (60 days or whatever), and they revisit your file on that day to figure out if they got your document or not and move forward. Did you send in a case specific inquiry through the website to let them know you'd sent the new information?

It takes some time. If you sent the extra documents less than a month ago, they likely haven't looked at your file at all yet since then. You could always call them or send in a case specific inquiry to check! Feb '15 was a long time ago.

Hello everyone,

I am a December 30, 2015 applicant. I didn’t send OWP application with my PR application.
I extended my Temporary Resident visa in March 2016 and it will be expired on October 4, 2016.
In June 2016 I decided to apply for OWP and now I’m still waiting for it ( I sent my application to CPC – Vegreville).
In case I don’t get my open work permit soon do I have to extend my TRV again in September or am I under implied status?

If you applied, then I believe you are under implied status. You can always call CIC's call centre to make sure it's correct: 888-242-2100.

I usually phoned as soon as they open in the morning. If you phone around lunch time it's really hard to get through. They have a new recording now when you phone in, it asks for your application number so hopefully they are working on their processes!

I usually phoned as soon as they open in the morning. If you phone around lunch time it's really hard to get through. They have a new recording now when you phone in, it asks for your application number so hopefully they are working on their processes!
