Hi guys!! I applied for my Spousal PR application in May 2015. Where do you guys see the application status updates? GC Key or just normal CIC status update thing?

The only status updates from CIC are the GCKey or ECAS.

The agent called my cell phone first, but it was on mute and I did not answer (when I checked later I found out that the called ID showed unknown). Then he called my work phone. He first confirmed my address and DOB with me, and then told me that he needed to ask me a few things regarding my app to clear things up.
He asked me about our joint bank account( which bears a different address than where we're living now), I offered explanation.
He then asked me about my parents, I explained where they are right now.
We applied under common law, he asked me whether we had plans for getting married. I said yes, and I want to have a wedding ceremony as well ( we never had one).
Then he confirmed my email address and told me that he's going to communicate the result with me through email.
The officer was extremely nice and polite.
The AIP email was sent to me roughly 1 hr after the phone interview.

For anyone who got a file transfer notice/might be interviewed, I strongly advised them to pay attention to phone calls that had the Caller ID blocked.

I am a bit nervous about this comment. How is this possible... I received a call from an unknown number on July 25. I find it odd that it would be CIC calling to interview me.

However, I this week I noticed decision made on my ECAS and so I called CIC and they said that I received AIP on July 25. I never got this email.
Is this common ? Why would they call and not even leave a message stating they have tried to contact me ... once maybe even twice ?

Thank you for your reply. Which one is more detailed? I got SA but no update on ECAS. And I am not able to link mu application to GC Key.

Received an email today for a finalising interview on Tuesday 16th August in Ottawa.
