Anything beyond the usual medical and police check...it's hard to say. Depends if they want any more info.

im pretty sure we have all the proof we need for our common law application, we used a consultant so she made it sure that we gave her as much documentation as we can to make our application strong. Im hoping after police clearance and medical, we are all good

The time flies! And a lot of people do have 5 minute interviews. The agent who we met with was quite chatty and most of the talking was done after the COPR was signed! Good luck!!

Great news. Last couple of days we got shower of CIC emails.

AIP: July 27th
DM: July 29th
& now Landing Interview: August 9th

Just can't believe my husband will get his PR in 9 months instead of 26 months. Thank you all for your help. This forum helped me a lot. Good luck to everyone.

I sponsored him and he got his owp in sept. and like everyone else here we're waiting.. Good luck to everyone !

One of my ex coworkers is a guy who married a canadian. She sponsored him ,inland , and he got pilot project owp last year . He made the lady pregnant ,married her and then after couple of months she kicked her out of their house. Now she's complaining how she can't find a job and how life is hard when you're single mom on facebook and he's posting pics on fb of all those nice stuff he can afford while single...
Guy thinks that he'll have no problems in getting his pr just because of that kid ,and he doesn't even live with them and he's not giving them any money...
Is that worth reporting to CiC or we should just leave it be? Do they have some kind of procedure to figure out frauds like that one ?

I have received an email there is some package for me at post Canada shipped today from Mississauga.

What is could be?

My timeline: Applied on 15th April 2016 (with PCC no medical)
received AOR1: 23 May 2016 (Ecas showed but never got email)
AOR 2: 29th June

After that only this email to for something.

I am trying to calling them but not met chance to speak to an agent.

Please share your ideas what it could be? are they returning my file?

Since it is a package, rather than an envelope...i suspect they have returned your entire application package, which usually doesn't happen after AOR has been received.

Hopefully, I'm wrong!

CIC is killing me....

I was so happy when I saw there are 2 emails from CIC this morning and it turned out both are AOR 1 for my husband, 1 for myself

which we already have received twice since we applied 2015 JULY....

Anyone received AORS again today?

My bad, i wrote package by mistake. That's not mentioned. It not saying anything nor weight.
