Thank you so much simpsol22! I appreciate your quick reply. I'm a bit anxious as I submitted my application in Saskatchewan. So, on ECAS it still shows my old home address in Saskatchewan. I did not update it, just for making things less complicated. The mailing address is my representative's address in Saskatchewan as well. At this stage, should I update my home address online? I've already received SA/AIP and submitted my 2nd time Med Exam Result.

Any idea? Thank you!!
OK, I have already updated my address...who knows...
I also found a list of the immigration office in each area:

Hmmm that I'm not sure on. I just saw on the spreadsheet you were in Vancouver. I'm not sure then if you'd land in Saskatchewan. So you ended up getting a 2nd medical exam?

angora -

Inland applications must land at a local office. They have no option for landing at a border. The landing letter simply said the date and time for the appointment and states the address to go to. The address will be based on the address you have said you are living at in Canada.

Keep in mind that sometimes the address update feature either takes some time or doesn't always get updated properly through their entire system. Also, the landing letter sometimes only give you a few days notice before your appointment. You should have updated your address right away.

In the landing letter it does say to email the local office (they give you an address to email) immediately if you cannot make the appointment. So you might be able to email them and give them your new address and hopefully they can then set it up at your current city. That surely may delay things.

Good luck!
PS - thanks for the congrats! We landed on Monday!

Hey guys!

Our status on ECAS changed to "medical results received" on June 24th 2016. Does anyone know roughly how long the wait is to hear from CIC again (possibly a DM? :D)

Has anyone else from here looked at the spreadsheet and noticed that applicants from Jan/Feb/March 2016 have started to receive sponsor approval? Not going to lie, I am pretty damn pissed off at that. I applied in July 2015 and heard nothing. Livid.

:'( it is so disheartening. I hope we hear something soon. I think the fact they've skipped from March-August 2015, and now processing 2016 apps is atrocious.

Nvm guys we got what I think is a DM today.. It says our application is finished being processed and the office will contact us with an appointment. But it says a decision about the PR will be made at the appointment is this normal? We are Oct 2015 applicants

This not fair! I am May 2015 applicant and has not heard anything since the submission date! Please fill complaints about this. I have done already.

Im a july 2015 but nothing yet. This is not fair. Isnt it common sense that process the apps in timely order? Maybe its not to CIC...

If you look at previous year's spreadsheets, they always seem to skip a part of the year to process towards the end and beginning of the next year. I think they do it to make their statistics look good. It lowers the average processing time, and then a few stragglers (us mid year applicants) get theirs after a longer processing time.

If only we had applied in September 2015, instead of July... it is terribly unfair. :-\

Hello, I am sponsoring my fiancé from Ireland and his Police Cert was requested. I am wondering if I can use the Case Specific Enquiry to get it to them faster or if I have to send in an original by mail? Also, he did his medical upfront last week and although it was an emedical, the doctor gave him proof of medical to send in. Can I send this in by Case Specific Enquiry? Can I send them in together? Thank you
I sent his proof of medical via Case Specific Enquiry this morning.
Still wondering about the Police Cert, do we need an original?
Thank you

Unless things have changed, CIC requires originals. There's no harm in sending a copy via CSE, just so CIC knows that you have it, and then send the original.

Include the application/file number and your UCI number of the cover letter, so that CIC/CPC can match it to your file.
