Something is wrong with the math in the inland app spreadsheet - I'm not sure what happened in the last few days but the average times are off! Can someone take a look at it?

Hmm, I think myself and user jeda555 both have some crazy number at the end of our entries because we both got a landing letter direct with no SA/AIP (or even DM letter I guess). So with no dates entered for those, the spreadsheet got confused?

Although I thought my letter was DM letter, after seeing jeda555's March 9, 2015 entry I realized the letter I got was actually the landing interview letter and not DM letter. CIC just skipped over those and got right to the point!

Congratulations!!! How exciting is that! You don't have to waste any more time wondering :)

September 2015 applicant here - freshly landed!

Application sent : 21 Sep 2015
Acknowledgement of Receipt: 17 Dec 2015
OWP: 15 Jan 2016
Sponsor approval: 9 May 2016
Landing interview appointment sent: 14 Jun 2016
Landed: 21 Jun 2016

I paid all fees upfront and had my medical done in advance of the application. Total time around 10 months.

Now waiting for the PR card to arrive - what are your experiences with the processing times (shorter or longer than expected?).

Ok, this is crazy.

August 2015 applicant.

We apparently today just got DM via email :o (edit: realized it was not DM letter, but landing interview letter, so actually never got SA/AIP/DM letters at all).

Instead of saying what I've read here commonly "We are pleased to let you know we have completed processing..." etc...the letter says "We are pleased to advise you that your final determination for PR interview has been scheduled..."

Then a date. Plus it says all the standard things to bring, photos, etc.

I assume this is the standard DM landing interview and not a genuineness concern in depth interview? No SA, no AIP, just landing interview email from the local office.

My strategy of sending the PCC and Medical 3 weeks ago (before they were ever requested) seemed to pay off!

CONGRATS!!! Glad to see movement in August 2015!!

This is now fixed :) As sawadee-eh mentioned, it was due to both of them not having AIP.

How do I upload requested documents to the Case Enquiry ? Can I send it as a whole document or must I upload each document and picture individually ?

You can send the whole document as long as it does not go over the size limit. "Files must be 2 MB or smaller. If you include multiple files, the total size must be 3.5 MB or smaller"

Awesome, thank you!

Hello fellow inlanders.. Please I want to know if it's a good idea to send my medical even though they haven't requested for it?

yes

hello! I just wanna ask, for those people who had been sponsored as a spousal or common law and had their application done inside Canada, did you guys undergo any interview before CIC made their decision? If so, how was the interview? I've been told by my consultant that before CIC grant and give the final decision they'll schedule us in for interview... i just wanna know if that's true and how does the interview goes...
all this time i thought its only for outland applicants and for those who have a redflag...
thank you so much :)

i actually did report to my local mps office with all the documents i had before ..She said they are going to write a note to request reopening of my file again.

Havent heard from her but i will keep members posted on any form of communication i get from her this coming week.

Thanks

Interview will happened if CIC have a doubt on relationship whether it is legitimate or not.

My husband and I applied within Canada last year September 2015. We have received the DM in May 2016, and now waiting for his PR only.

If you give CIC maximum proof of your marriage relationship (photo, phones calls, credit card bill, address, letter from friends and family as a reference) they will less have doubt on your relation and might not call you for an interview.
