Hello everyone,
First of all, I would to thank you all for all help and support... immigration process is crazy, will make you crazy and hopeless.

But there is no price for what you feel when it is done.

App. Dec 24 2015
Aor. Feb 10 2016
Criminal request. June 10 2016
SA fev 18 2017
Aip fev 20 2017

Landing Mar 08 2017

Don't worry about the questions, they are very simple... when you got married, are you leaving together, did you have any criminal offence since you app.... that's it.
All the best for you all...
Thank you again.
Let's start life.
Do they ask those questions at landing? I thought it was easier, crime, dependents and done. Not like at relationship interview.

they asked my spouse if he had any convictions or was ever bankrupt. they asked me if I was ever denied entry to Canada if I had any conviction or dependants.

Spoke to an IRCC today and they told me my 26 months will be in September. I can't believe they are still selling us that, when people are now getting through in less than a year.
I am soooooo tired now. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I agree, I don't understand why they keep saying 26 months... that's so frustrating to be lied to and to be powerless about that.

They requested additional proof of cohabitation November 24, 2016 and I submitted them December 1, 2016. So I still don't understand what is causing the hold up.

Hello everyone. I am new on this forum. I am planning submitting an inland application for spouse sponsorship. Is there any basic, general or complex information I need to know. A link or explanation will be much appreciated. Thanks to you all in advance

Did you order your GCMS notes? At least to know if there is any problem with your application. I know that IRCC is still saying that the processing time is 26 months, even if we all know that it is not true, but you are already in the process for 24 months, so maybe you MP would be able to help. Have you tried contacting him/her?

Open the very first excel file (Permanent and Temporary Resident Applications Overview)
Line 34 gives information about the processing time for inland (domestic) spousal sponsorship. You will see that at the end of the 3rd trimester (Sept 2016), the processing time was 23 months (even if IRCC continously mention 26 months). These are official statistics. Unfortunately, stats for the 4th trimester have not been released yet.
If you contact your MP, I would suggest you to print that file and ask if he/she can put some pressure on IRCC to make them process your file as you are 24 months in the process and official stats show that the normal processing time was 23 months in Sept 2016.

In any case, best of luck with the process!
Congratulations for the pregnancy and although easier said than done, don't let the immigration process affect you and your husband. In the end, it will be approved.
Hello, thank you very much for the reply! No I haven't order my GCMS notes and I don't really know what those are to be honest, how would I go about ordering them? I think I will contact my local MP and see what can be done about requesting them to contact IRCC. Thank you for the encouragement, we are very excited to meet the new addition to our family and just want to start our lives already!
