For anyone that wants a health card after receiving their owp, I went to service Ontario today with my owp & letter from employer stating that I will be working full time for 6 months & was approved for the health card. Only thing is I have to wait 3 months until I actually get the health card.

I applied for PR and OWP in July 23 2016(family class sponsorship)..I got OWP in NOV 19 and aknowledgement of receipt (AOR) in 18 MARCH 2016

So you can imagine what really goes on these offices

Quick update: Oct. 9th applicant - we got our AOR on March 17th and were on eCAS the day after. Yay!

Hi everyone,

I live in BC and my PR is being processed(we have AOR 2015 october) and I have work permit. so I would like to add myself to my husbands' MSP.
I talked to MSP call centre and they told me add myself to husband's MSP.I moved to BC from my country 2014 and I don't have MSP yet.
Does any one know what forms to send?

I found the forms both online and paper forms but both asks me to put my MSP Number but I don't have mine yet.

Should I enroll myself first and send different from later to add it to my husband?
I will also get medical coverage from my work in 2 months after my probation.

If you know about MSP, please let me know

Both when CIC introduced this new program and when they announced that it will be extended, they recommended to send it to Unit 777:

There must be a different unit responsible for the processing of these applications.

I have applied for almost one year, still haven't got anything on CSQ. Have any idea?
I noticed people who got their CSQ request more ealier will get their Approval more faster than the others.

Like IMM5669, 8. Personal history
If I am going to say, I am a visitor in Canada at this moment..
Can I put from 2015/12 to "Present" in the date??

Or put the date that I fill out the form, in order to replace the word "present"?
I am worried that they would reject my form ..

Can anyone give help please?

Same goes for me. Applied for PR and OWP in July 2015, OWP was received in November 2015 and received AOR last night March 22 2016. Ecas has been updated to reflect they have received my application. hopefully things will start moving quickly thanks to the liberals!

You have to use this form: http://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/health/forms/203fil.pdf
Just leave empty the information regarding the spouse's PHN. And make sure to send them a very detailed letter. In my experiences people at MSP are way more difficult to deal with than CIC. I'm not joking...

Hi!

I'm a January 7 applicant. My sponsor received SA today.
However, no AIP because I need to provide the following documents: Proof of Relationship, Stat Dec of Common-Law IMM5409 and Communication Proof.
I thought I included everything I could but apparently not...

It says to send the information to a Mississauga address and there is also an email address. I'm wondering if I can send the scanned documents to that email address or should I just sent a regular mail? It's not that important, I am just curious to know if anyone did it before.

I am wondering whether any of you know how to update sponsor's email address for the application...
Called CIC today,asked them how to change email address and they sent me the link for updating the mailing address... :'( :-\
