1. I would be putting it together now, it's nowhere near as long winded as the PR app but the sooner it's done the sooner you'll get it which just now, if all goes well, would be around 4 months time from submission.bm2015 said:Hello all
I applied for PR under spouse category from within Canada on 25th Aug 2015. Got my application received on 13th Jan 2016. I have a graduate open work permit valid till 20th Aug 2016. Could you please tell me
1. when is the right time to apply for open work permit under spousal category?
2. Where can I find the application for open work permit under spousal category?
3. My husband is a PR and we applied for my PR from ALberta. Now we moved to ONtario. FIrst stage of my PR is not yet over. Is it okay to let the CIC know of my address change from ALberta to Ontario?
1. You shouldn't expect to get your AIP for another 6 months or so. It currently takes ~ 18 months for an Inland applicant to reach that stage.manjani said:Hello everyone,
My application was sent to CIC Jan 14 2015, but haven't got AIP as yet. In the mean time I was on PGWP till June 12 2016. Just to be safer I am sending OWP application and need advise on whether:
1) I should wait for get AIP and apply for work permit online thereafter or go ahead with OWP right now?
2) Do I have to send Statutory declaration of common law union again? I have already sent that with my PR application.
Had you applied for a 2nd OWP having only received a 1 year OWP originally? Or did they just send you another one with an extra year?b4bow said:Well, how's everybody's progress?
I also got my second OWP from the CIC this month. It was so weird.
Hello Linus,Linus0 said:Received my CSQ today, applied December 10th, 2015.
Yes I did, its a pretty straight forward application if thats what you mean by easy. Im not sure about the maximum time it takes. Have you received a letter from CIC inviting you to apply with the quebec government to get your CSQ? If you look at the inland application timeline document you can see when a few others have received theirs, I believe the average is about a month or twobm2015 said:Hello Linus,
Did you get the CSQ in 45 days? Is CSQ easy to get ? What's the maximum time it takes to get approved?
COuld you please clarify my doubt..
