Are August applicants still waiting for OWP ? Do all July applicants get OWP yet?

Hi! You just have to send a brand new application for OWP to CPC-Vegreville and you have to include a copy of your reciept from your first application (OWP) and pay the correct fees. Send them a cover letter explaining what that you have sent an OWP application along with your PR Application to CPC-Mississauga. Provide them with proof of your PR and OWP app receipt and dates when you sent it and when CPC-Mississauga received your app.

They will probably send your first OWP app to you but don't wait for it coz it will take months.
Send your brand new OWP to vegreville with this address:

CPC-Vegreville
WP-Unit 777
6212-55 Avenue
Vegreville, AB
T9C1X6

And when they send your 1st application back, send it back to them (again) with the correct payment and another cover letter saying you have sent a brand new OWP app to CPC-Vegreville providing the dates and courier delivery confirmation (if you use courier) which I suggest you do so.

That's what I did. According to b4bow, that's what he did in his situation and got his OWP. He never knew which CPC issued his OWP but as long as he got it, that's what's matter. It's better to do something about it now that wait for your first application return to you. In my case, I was avoiding to lose my implied status and since the processing of App's are taking longer than the usual, it's better to be sure than sorry. Send it right away if you can. Couriers can have your app sent to vegreville the next day so you might wanna get everything together and let me know if you need any help. I am sponsoring my spouse and his visitor status expires Feb.29.2016. Our plan is to apply for the following:
- Visitor Visa Extension of stay
- Open Work Permit
- Sponsorship Application
- Principal Applicant Application
- Transitional Provision (if no application, then pay the fees as required)

My question is, money is a little tight, I can ask for help, but hoping to do it my own. In the event that I cannot get any help, do you think my application would be held up or considered incomplete if I submit the forms for extenstion, work permit and sponsorship applications?

Then submit the Principal Applicant Application and Transitional Provision forms and fees a little later?

Any suggestions or tips would be great, we are getting down the wire and I would like to send something off to CIC soon as I currently have the payment receipts for the extenstion, work permit and sponsorship applications, but not the other two mentioned.

if you are sending your application with incorrect/insufficient payment fees, it will be more likely to be sent back to you, though few applicants were able to continue their application process when the officer sent them a letter requesting for additional payment but it rarely happens, they got lucky but do you really wanna give it a chance? and wait till you get your application back and have to send it again? Though I am not any expert, but my advice is have your application complete before sending it. I really hope you get some help with your application. I know how tough it could be and the money can be real tight specially for the ones who are waiting for a work permit.

I forgot to mention to you that since your spouse is trying to complete the PR application, and since he had already paid for the Visitors Extension, he might wanna send his application before his status expire which you can do so online.

Happy Holidays! I received my OWP last december 24th (OWP effective Dec. 17). I'm from the Philippines and I applied August 11 (received Aug. 12 as per ECAS). Kindly update the spreadsheet. Thank You!

You can take courses that are under six months without a study permit

Taking a course like a certificate that completes less than 6 months is acceptable since they do not require a study permit.
