are you saying at landing the officer usually takes 2 pictures from us? in my case i was asked to bring 2 to the landing but at the end the officer took only 1( which is the one the officer stick on the CORP cic copy) and the other one is return to me. do you think it is weird ?

Yes it is the same for me as well. You are supposed to put the other one on the COPR if you haven't noticed yet there is a piece of tape on the lower right. :P ;D

I'm so worried now, i have a trip to go in October, hopefully cic wont request for new picture. However, as ForeignEx mentioned s/he in the same situation as me, the officer took only one picture.

two was taken from me and i have none on my copr copy, but in your case the one that was taken from you would be used for your card.

In our case, the one picture was attached to COPR and the other was sent for PR card.

I actually saw the only picture that they took from me was stick on a piece of paper, which looks identical as our CoPR ....

Hi Everyone,

A quick question.

I am getting married to my girlfriend who is a PR of Canada.

I am planning this way: Applying for a visitor visa after marriage and then after reaching Canada I'll apply for Open work Permit & PR.

Is this the right way?

So I finally got my PR card today after landing on April 19th. So it takes me 2 years and 2 weeks to finally done with CIC

Hey everyone, I landed on 19th July 2016, and finally I received my pr card today on 26 August 2016. I did not expect this at all. at first i saw a mail in my mail box and it looks like a regular mail, i thought it was a resubmit photo mail. BUT IT'S A PR CARD ATTACHED IN THE MAIL...
;D ;D ;D ;D
