Nope, it hasn't been lost in the mail.
I've been on the phone with the call center at least bi-weekly.

They haven't mailed it out yet.
Their grunts are simply too stupid to utilize whatever filing structure our documents are in.
Too hard to do, they're working so efficiently they can't waste time diverting their efforts to dealing with their own mistakes.
Picture a cashier concentrating so hard on running-in-place that he simply can't assist the people waiting in line.

Hopefully one day CIC will be canned in favor of a private processing company.
Please Canada, since it's clear it can't be fixed, throw it out and get a new one, cut your losses, this lemon will never ride.

Just curious, how long do you usually need to wait to speak with someone at the call center? I have tried several times before and only got to talk to an agent once (last year) and she gave me the wrong information....All other time my call was hung up due to high call volume.

Hi all,
So I landed today and right after I went to service Ontario to apply for OHIP. This stupid agent is going to tell me, for proof of address (mind you I have a driver's license) I need a document with a date later than today because the proof of address ID or document should have a date after the day you became permanent resident. I asked her what is she talking about, she's there trying to convince me that's the way it is. I just told her we'll see and I left and went straight to another service Ontario and I got through.

Just writing this to let anyone who have problems with them to just try another one.

Yeah that's pretty common. They're generally idiots.

You should have brought in a bill from the future.

Thank you! I can't update the spreadsheet from my phone (and I only have my phone), so if anyone wants to do it, we're "Sabrina and Jeremy" in the list!

Thank you

Hi Maggie03 and Olasam,

I am having this spousal interview next week in Montreal - would you be able to tell me some more details about how is it working and give me some examples of questions you/your friend had?

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot!!
