You should get your PR card in about 150 working days plus 6 weeks for mailing delays.

Enjoy the wait.

I know that some people are waiting like forever, but others in the last couple weeks really got their PR cards in two months.

My wife have received Medical request on : 1 April 2016. Her passport is expired and it in process of renewal and Indian embassy got all the required document they need and waiting for a back home conformation. The problem is all her ID's are expired and she is "out of Status" for us to go get any ID renewed. The time given to finish medicals is 30 days. We have no idea which way to proceed. Called up all the doctors they can take an government ID which is expired less than a year but her licence expiry is little over an year. I have sent the letter of immigration to Indian embassy in Vancouver. They dont respond. We are stuck and the only fear is we got less than 20 days to complete medicals. Any Advice please.

What's absolutely ridiculous about all this is that applicants who applied to the same stream 6 to 9 months later are getting their PR cards at earlier dates.

I absolutely loathe the government. Hopefully Trump fires Canada's government and gives us a new one. I'm tired of this BS.

That would seem to indicate that you passed the interview, right? Why would CIC be asking for another medical and PCC if the visa officer was not satisfied with the interview?

I'll suggest you call the call center, the maximum you should wait is 4 weeks apparently. I called in when it was 3 weeks and they said 4 weeks is the max wait time. If I don't hear back from them by the 4th week then I should call them back. Fortunately I didn't have to call them again.

Your application must have gotten lost somewhere along the way. Have you been calling them?
