I am waiting for it. But from your experience, i think i still have a long time period to wait for, cause i received my DM on Feb 27... and also in Montreal office

I haven't been on here in a bit, and I'm not sure if any of you are in the facebook group but here's on a update on our case:

Application received: November 13, 2014
1st AOR: January 27, 2015
2nd AOR: September 15, 2015
Request for Additional Family Member Info: September 15, 2015
SA: February 24, 2016
Medical Results Received: March 6, 2016 [According to agent on the phone]
AIP: Looks like it was also written February 24 but as of today (March 10) it turns out it still sits in their office in Mississauga, not even mailed out yet.

just got SA but no AIP.. was asked to submit more proof within 30 days which i have to send tomorrow. how long do i have to wait to get AIP after submitting the proof?

Try to send a huge amount of proof to avoid that your app to be transferred. From 30 to 90 days. good luck and congrats

CONGRATULATIONS !! :)

When did you get DM? Just to have an idea if I'll be getting an appointment soon...

Hey guys we r doing a Twitter campaign tomorrow starting at 9:00 am please please try to take part we need to raise awareness to these processing times. Also follow your MPs and tag them in your post and use #cdnpoli. This is a change to voice your concerns. We paid a lot of money to get these applications in so we deserve reasonable wait times.

Hi Everyone!

Big news for us today!

This morning we received Sponsor Approval email
Then this afternoon, we received our Landing Interview Appointment letter for next Wednesday!

Our timeline is as follows:
Application Received by CIC on 3 December 2014 (with FBI check and medical)
First AOR 6 Feb 2015
2nd AOR received 5 May 2015
OWP application submitted under the pilot programme on 31 Oct 2015 (received 4 November)
OWP issued dated 4 Feb
SA received March 9, 2015
Interview Scheduled for 16 March 2016 in Vancouver.

Yeah!

A further update, we got the letter approving my wife's application for PR today (well, saying that processing was complete), and to expect a letter scheduling the landing interview (which we actually received yesterday).

Hello everyone! Got my CoPR yesterday, the landing interview (Etobicoke) was smooth and really short (10mins or less).

God bless everyone :)

I have a question about the landing interview. Is it the interview that i will be given the landing paper and New SIN? Do I need to go to the border again to meet the immigration officers there to apply for the PR card?

Thanks

You will be given a Confirmation of Permanent Residence if you pass the interview (which I guess is mostly the case), and a new SIN if you don't have one yet. No need to go to the border, it's a CIC office nearest to your area.
