Before people were getting two AORs within couple of months. After the second one you could check status online. Each AOR was addressed either to sponsor or to the person being sponsored and contained his/hers uci, name and common application number.lexxy said:i'm so confused people talking about two AOR for both sponsor and sponsored.. cos i only received one AOR which is for me the sponsored. can someone share more light to this strange issue for me plssss.

In-Canada PR applications
(In accordance with GCMS release) AOR will be issued by CPC-Vegreville:
to the sponsor or authorized representative, in the case of in-Canada sponsorship applications;
------
Unless things have `officially' changed, CIC only sends one AOR. Now, for awhile last year, they were giving applicants temporary file numbers (starting with `X', I believe) and then (apparently) following up with the actual file number (beginning with `F'). Perhaps this is what people are calling the second AOR?
Hi, I was told that you can request for a rush on the PR card, it will cost $50 but they can't guarantee anything. I'm at work don't have the number with me but the number is listed in the paper they gave us at landing with bunch of info re: sponsoring other people, citizenship requirement, etc etc, under the PR card section. I can check for you when I get home if you can't find it.458_Bridge said:Hi,
SO we just landed yesterday and really want to travel outside of Canada (Fly).
What are the ways that we can request the PR card faster in any ?
Secondly the PRTD( Permanent Resident Travel Document ) can be requested by people who are outside Canada. Is there anything for people who are inside Canada ?
!!!!!!! They only took one of my photos!!!screech339 said:You are only required to bring two PR photo pictures. 50mm x 70mm size photo with face 31-36mm.
One photo will be attached to COPR and the other photo will be sent to CIC-Sydney for PR card.
Explain to the photo shop that it is a PR photo that you are required. Most photo shops knows there are two different photo specs from citizenship and PR photos. They usually ask which photo specs you need.
