Congratulations Sophieee!

But...I thought the sponsor did need to be there, to confirm that they understand they're financial responsibility for the applicant for the next 3 years?!

In my invitation letter it says "If you were sponsored, please ensure that your sponsor attends the interview with you, as there may be a requirement to question them". And he was with me, maybe there would have been a problem if he wasn't. But they didn't check his ID and asked only me if I'm still married, but didn't address him a single question.

LOL, I just realized what did I write instead of Hornby Street. I'm glad that no one quoted it :D

Congratulations! Sophieee and thank you for all your work!

Still waiting for my landing interview letter from Calgary office, hopfully I can get it soon!

Hi guys,
So I went to my landing appointment today at Hornby Street, Vancouver. We went early and we waited like 50 minutes. Than we saw a guy with a weird moustache and terrible jokes. He was joking all the time and he was laughing at his own jokes, even though it was clear that he tells them ten times a day (and he was not funny). Anyway, finally after like 20 minutes I got my COPR and was free to go to celebrate :P
Standard questions, they were not really interested that my husband was with me, didn't ask for IDs. 86 days till PR card. I was told that I have to wait till my PR card arrives to get a new SIN, but I heard from others that it can be done with the COPR. I will go in the next couple days and try to get it.
I have bittersweet feelings, of course I'm very happy to be done with it, but I still feel disappointed with this whole process.
Congratulations Sophiee!

hi 2nd AOR for some are the Acknowledgement of CIC that they received your application which is send to the sponsor. It states there the sponsors UCI which can be used to log into ECAS. Most of 2014 have 2 AORs that are sent to them.

So, are first and second AOR's identical? I thought all communication from CIC contains a UCI.
