Sophieee did you get any messages about your DM from CIC? I'm wondering, cause your timeline says they received it in January!

A new Schedule A was requested and I sent it on May 27th. Now I'm just waiting again for someone to take a look at it.

Hi,

I applied Inland Application, and CIC received my files on Apr 3, 2014.

I got the SA on Jun 8, 2015, and my wife's application starts processing on June 8, 2015 according to ecas. but when I look here, most of people get SA and AIP in same day... but why my one is not... :( I checked ecas and it still shows IN-PROCESS... Do you think is there something wrong??? It's so STRESSFUL!!!!!!

if you look at most April 2014 applicant here, most of them only got only SA, so you are not the only one.

I checked my Ecas today and it says...

"You entered Canada at Inland Services, Montréal on June 13, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident."

Now I'm waiting for the PR card ;D HAPPY ;D

(Feb 6,2014 applicant)

Site is updated, another week gone by with only 3 days of progress. Awesome.

504 days of processing time, only 20 more till they reach a new backlog record.

Hi Guys,

I just waned to share my status. Sophie can you please update the worksheet? thanks.

1. First application sent to CIC August 17, 2014. OWP was included. I had a visitor record that would expire Dec 31,2014.

2. Received AOR September 8, 2014.

3. Full package returned to me October 25 saying that a form was outdated (even though at the time of application, there were no updated form) I was stressed over this because of the wasted months.

4. Resent my application and CIC received it Nov 3, 2014. I have still not received a new AOR but when I called, they gave me a new temporary application number.

5. When the pilot program came in I send a standalone OWP application to Vergeville with a copy of the previous OWP receipt on Dec 22, 2014. I wanted to be on the safe-side, plus I figured that since I had a temporary application number, who knows when they would be opening my file. CIC received it Dec 31, 2014.

6.Open permit was issued April 15,2015. Surprisingly enough, it was the Vergeville application that they looked at. I still do not think they have looked at the OWP in the Sponsorship application. This is based on the conversations that I've had with CIC. They could only verify the OWP received Dec 31, 2014 and made no mention of the OWP submitted with the sponsorship application.

7. OWP did not come in the mail and I had to wait 6 weeks (May 27, 2015) before they could submit a new one.

8. Received a new OWP by mail June 2, 2015. Expires in 2 years.

9. Now have my SIN but no OHIP. Services Ontario says I need a full time job first. I am presently 8 months pregnant so I will start job hunting after the baby is born. I am not so worried about OHIP, just thankful that I can work

Regards,

Hi Everybody,

We submitted our application on Feb 3 2014 and ecas only showing application received until now, no CSQ request or anything after that, i do see people submitted application later than this date have AIP/Landing
Is this something to be concerned about, its so stressful, We are in Montreal

dear experts,

are there any requirements for minimum income for the sponsor for inland spouse sponsorship?
I think so far it was only that the sponsor cannot be on welfare and go under bankruptcy.

Before coming here I googled the topic and found only an outdated article from 2014 April which says this is still the case but The government is also considering a minimum income requirement to sponsor a spouse or common-law partner - See more at: http://www.immigroup.com/news/minimum-education-and-income-requirements-spousal-sponsorship-canada#sthash.xjfmrNSE.dpuf

has this ever happened? I cannot find more info on it...

thanks for the help as usual!!
