So if may ask the forum, which form are we to use when applying for OWP. Thanks

If you already have the AIP you can apply online and if you don't apply on paper to Vegreville.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/updates/2014/2014-12-22.asp

'Applicants who have already submitted an application for permanent residence under the SCLPC class but have not yet applied for an open work permit should complete an Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (PDF, KB) (PDF, 457.56 KB) form [IMM 5710], include the appropriate fee, indicating that they are applying for an open work permit, and submit it to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, at the following address:

CPC – Vegreville
WP - Unit 777
6212-55 Avenue
Vegreville, AB
T9C 1X6

If an SCLPC applicant has already received approval in principle, they have the option of applying for an open work permit online.' using the 'change of conditions' form :)

Thanks Sophie,

I'm not at home right now but when I get home I'll double check the date on the IMM5710 application, but I can't remember seeing any update that occurred in December...only the one in March. My MP is kind of useless so I think it might be faster to just resubmit or...basically start from scratch again (with respect to the work permit). At least they didn't return the PR application...yet.

I wasn't sure about submitting the OWP online but the call center agent this morning told me I could. Is he wrong??

I was able to check the IMM5710, on December 22th the most recent file was from June, 2014. So, your forms must have been up to date on Dec 22, call your MP and see if they can help you!

Any 2014 receiving aproval yet

I see on the spreadsheet that one of the January applicants received sponsorship approval...

Hello,
I extended my study permit. Moreover, I applied for a visa extension. Do I need to send the extended study permit and the visa page of my passport to CIC. If yes, is it alright if I scan the documents and send it to: CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca this email address, or I need to send the documents by snail mail. N.B. I did not change my status in Canada, when I applied for inland sponsorship my status was student. I just extended it.
Thank you very much.

Hello, have any applicants from Quebec who applied last year 2014, receive the request to apply for CSQ?

Yes, my wife (sponsor) received an email request from CIC to apply for it early last month, we applied one week after that, and received I my Quebec Selection Certificate a little over 2 weeks ago.

When did you guys send your application?

I am October 2014 applicant. My visitor record expiring next month and I am still waiting for my OWP, for which I applied along with my application.

Now what should I do?

1) Should I apply for the extension of Visitor Record?
2) Wait for my OWP to arrive?
3) Where do I send my new passport copy? Do I send additional proof of our relationship?

I am confused.. Please help

Thank you

Since you included the OWP WITH the Inland application (same envelope), and both were received by CIC prior to your visitor record expiring...you don't need to do anything.

You are covered by `Implied Status', which will last throughout the PR process. You cannot work, obviously, until you receive your OWP.

If you choose to leave Canada, your implied status would end.

Don't send anything unless you are asked to do so by CIC. However, if your passport has expired, you will want to contact them ASAP to find out how to best provide them with a copy of the new one.

Hello, after AOR is it medical request next..do u have any idea how many months? Or I could refer to the spreadsheet lol I declare my dependents into non accompanying but will change it to accompanying once I get their passport and settles other stuff with their father....is it true that when an applicant get the medical request the dependents should receive it too at the same time? Thanks a lot for any helpful info :)
