Thanks) I sent my application on 30-10-14, AOR on 3rd Dec, OWP received on 26th of feb, applied for CSQ on 2nd March,received CSQ on 24-3-15. I pray that you get yours soon. Have they charged 272$ for your appl?

Moreover for RAMQ, you need both CSQ and OWP, or CSQ and AIP. Have you received your OWP?

Can Anyone answer this please... My husband applied for inland sponsorship in Quebec. I received both open workpermit case 27, and CSQ on the basis of "that" error mail by CIC(27-2-15). Now the question is, can I enroll for full time French language course offered by Quebec Govt. on the basis of these 2 docs only.

I know that with an open work permit and CSQ you can apply for medical insurance at Quebec. However, is it possible to apply for medical insurance just with the CSQ? I cannot apply for an OWP, as I already have a study permit, and studying full-time. Moreover, the international tuition fee exemption is not applicable with just the CSQ, it needs the AIP, as far as I know. Correct me if I am wrong.

A big NO!!!! You also need either OWP, or AIP letter. I didn't have AIP and the functionnaire simply refused to issue RAMQ card. After seeing my OWP, she was finally convinced..

If the whole package was returned in October than it counts as a brand new application, so you should have gotten a new AOR. If just some forms were returned and asked for resubmit than your date is still Aug 28.

Thank you for the clarification yes the whole package was returned but only one form need to be updated so I think it counts on Aug.28,2014 then. Thank you.

Yes student can apply for OWP. The problem is that OWP does not allow the student to continue studying. Once you get OWP, you must quit your studies at university immediately. So it is not good advice for students to apply for OWP if they haven't finished their education studies.

ummmmh...am just wondering if there is any Feb 2014 applicant?

We received our ARO in June 2014 and ever since we can log in the eCAS our status always shows "application received" until now ??? I've seen other people who sent out their apps much later but their status are "in progress" and can find the "start progressing date" from their eCAS result...should we call CIC and check if there is any problem on it?

We have been waiting for CIC to go through our applications very patiently without calling them at all since we sent out our applications in Feb 2014 because my husband says "it always takes that long". But I just not sure if we should stay quiet anymore :-[
